Clam Chowder, Crab Sandwich and San Francisco

'Clam Chowder'; I read this world somewhere on Television and I remembered my trip to San Francisco. The very first time when I went to USA and particularly San Francisco.

Pier 39, San Francisco, has some of the most amazing food joints serving delicious sea food. I had gone crazy looking at the menus there. The air smelled so magnificent in itself that my mouth had started to water well before I actually had a bite of the food.

I was walking on the curb, looking at the shops with a coke in my hand when I saw a board which said, 'The best Crab Sandwich of San Francisco'. I didn't even think twice.

It was the first time I had eaten crab meat. It was the first time I had eaten crab sandwich. And it has been The Best crab dish I have ever had. The bread was filled till the last millimeter with soft and tender crab meat. I added fresh lemon juice to it and it turned into a dish with taste which I can actually feel whenever I think about it.

Before I could get over the heavenly taste of the crab sandwich, there was a hunger call again and to answer that call, there was a board which said 'Clam Chowder'. I had read this name for the first time in my life. I did not know what it was and how would it taste, but my uncle had told me about this dish and said that its a famous dish in San Francisco. So I thought of giving it a go.

Clam Chowder is prepared using clams, butter, milk, flour, some cream and pepper. It tastes delicious. Absolutely delicious.

Man.. what a day it was. Ever since I have read the word 'Clam Chowder' on Television a couple of days ago, I have been thinking so much about it. I am missing all of these. Clam Chowder; Crab Sandwich and San Francisco.
